You Had To Be There
The lyrics came to me after working with a friend at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London. i was travelling by tube / bus to Hammersmith on to Barns and wrote this song on the amazing Castelnau where lots of amazing musicians have thrived, crashed and burned in the past….. The guitar was arranged by the wonderful Jon Gomm.

This song comes from an impossible situation of finding out that my younger sister was dying of breast cancer at a very young age, the strength she showed and gave me was just not understood by a then boyfriend.
